Low: A pop song of unspeakable terror

This is a song you simply have to actually listen to, but in the way that some people stare at the sun and others endlessly watch shows like Hoarders. Just knowing that this music video had an actual production budget is unsettling. I had this whole rant prepared about how songs like this are literally making the next generation dumber, an army of drones with an imagination the size of a Blackberry. But honestly, there’s nothing else to say other to point the direction the disaster and get out of the way. If you can make it to 30 seconds, you have the patience of a saint. If you make it to 45, you’re risking permanent brain damage. The truly sad thing isn’t even Rebecca Black; it’s the many adults all looking on during production believing this song was a good idea. In a matter of a few days, poor RB has already become a sadistic punch-line that could eventually rival Miss Teen South Carolina. Ok, maybe not quite.

The only decent thing to do is provide a few real songs, if only to get the apocalyptic buzzing out of your ears.
